Launched in May of 2012, TahoeFuture.org is a campaign designed to garner public involvement in critical plans that affect the future of Lake Tahoe. Areas of focus are sustainable land use, water and air quality, environmental redevelopment and transportation. The goal of TahoeFuture.org is to increase the number of businesses and community members participating in critical land-use and transportation issues in 2012; specifically, in the refining and ultimate improvement of the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency Regional Plan Update and the Regional Transportation Plan/Mobility 2035 Update.
